New Co-Editor for the book series Linguistic Approaches to Literature
John Benjamins Publishing is pleased to announce that Max M. Louwerse of
the University of Memphis will be joining Sonia Zyngier of the Federal
University of Rio de Janeiro as co-editor of the book series Linguistic
Approaches to Literature.
Linguistic Approaches to Literature provides an international forum for
researchers who believe that the application of linguistic methods leads to
a deeper and more far-reaching understanding of many aspects of literature.
The emphasis is on pragmatic approaches intersecting with areas such as
discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, ethnolinguistics, rhetoric,
philosophy, cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistics and stylistics.
The editors invite submissions of book proposals, preferably structured
according to Benjamins' Guidelines for Book Proposals.
