Translation Studies
Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish. Beginning July 2011. Two-year
appointment renewable. Five courses per year, including language courses.
Field(s) of specialization open with preference for translation studies,
localization and /or related areas in computational linguistics. Practical
knowledge of translation environment tools required. Experience in
multimodal translation highly desirable. Applicants must have a firm
commitment to undergraduate teaching and submit evidence of same, including
course evaluations, and a sample syllabus of an advanced undergraduate
