Semantics and Morphology of Aspect across Languages
Date: 18-Apr-2011 - 20-Apr-2011
Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom

Linguistic Field(s): Morphology; Semantics; Typology
Meeting Description:
The aim of this panel is to gather researchers working on Aspect to discuss the
aspectual distinctions operative in different languages and the ways in which
aspectual features are morphologically assembled across languages. We intend to
bring together authors with fine-grained proposals about aspect from different
approaches to discuss the theoretical articulation of the temporal realms
traditionally recognized, i.e. grammatical aspect, lexical aspect and tense.
