The Department of Linguistics at Gallaudet University (http://linguistics.gallaudet.edu) will be submitting an application to the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) to bring an international sign language scholar to teach in our department for the 2011-2012 year. This will involve teaching one course per semester in your topic area. CIES covers travel and room and board expenses. If you are interested in being considered, please communicate with Ceil Lucas by September 15, ceillucas at aol.com. The Gallaudet Linguistics faculty will select the applicant who best fits our department's needs and submit a proposal to CIES for funding.
