Dear Subscribers,
The University of Toronto, Canada is leading the Americas
(non-USA) region of the grad school challenge, followed
by University of British Columbia, Canada and Carleton
University, Canada. They are followed by University of
Ottawa and McGill University.
Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan is leading
the Asia (without Middle East) region, followed by
City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Meiji Gakuin
University, Japan, Shanghai International Studies
University, China, and Nagoya University, Japan.
The European region is lead by Katholieke Universiteit Leuven,
Belgium with a total of $301, followed very closely
by University of Surrey, United Kingdom with $300.
Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain ($265), University of Edinburgh,
United Kingdom ($221) and University of Zadar, Croatia ($200)
are not far back and may take the lead at any time!
The Middle East region is being lead by Bar-Ilan University,
Israel ($100), followed by Middle East Technical University,
Turkey ($55), United Arab Emirates University, United Arab
Emirates ($50), and American University of Beirut, Lebanon ($10).
The University of Melbourne, Australia is leading the
Pacific region with a total of $250, followed by Monash University,
Australia ($50) and Macquarie University, Australia ($30).
North-West University, South Africa ($175) is the leader of
the Africa region. Will there be any other institutions in that
region that can take over?
The US (East) region is lead by Ohio State University ($1125),
followed by Georgetown University ($925) very closely, and Indiana
University ($799), Cornell University ($775), and University of
South Carolina ($625).
The US (West) region is being lead by Stanford University
($2820), which is the leader of the grad school challenge
at this time. It is followed by University of Washington
($2446), University of California, Santa Barbara ($1350),
University of Arizona ($985), and Arizona State University
($250).
