Meeting Description:
The conference focuses on the most current advances in the study of Philippine languages, and in the application of linguistic theory to disciplines in the Philippines. The conference also looks into the contemporary comparative studies made between Philippine languages and foreign languages.
Call for Papers:
Scholars from academe and language advocacy groups who have conducted research on Philippine linguistics are invited to submit an abstract with the following details and format:
I. Title (no more than 20 words) and name of proponent/s
II. Abstract (maximum 500 words)
III. A separate page references (not more than 1 page)
Abstracts may be in English or Filipino. Along with the abstract, please fill out the Participant's Information Form and send it electronically to 11thplc at gmail.com no later than 20 July 2011.
