Frankfurt (Oder) ist zum 01.10.2011 eine

W3 - Professur für 
Sprachgebrauch und Multimodale Kommunikation
zu besetzen. 

Der/die Stelleninhaber/in soll das Fach in Forschung und Lehre breit
vertreten. Bevorzugte Schwerpunkte dabei sind:

Kognitive Linguistik (Cognitive Linguistics)
Gestenforschung (Gesture Studies)
Metaphernforschung (Applied Metaphor Research)
Interaktionslinguistik (Interactional Linguistics)
Schnittstellen zur Medienwissenschaft und zur Kognitionswissenschaft

Die Viadrina steht für Forschen und Lehren im internationalen und
interkulturellen Kontext, daher wird eine hohe internationale Sichtbarkeit
und Vernetzung der Professur in Forschung und Lehre erwartet. Vom
Stelleninhaber/ von der Stelleninhaberin wird erwartet: 

Aktive Mitarbeit am Bachelorstudiengang,
Kulturwissenschaften sowie an den Masterstudiengängen Intercultural
Communication Studies und Soziokulturelle Studien,
Aufbau weiterer internationaler Studiengänge im Rahmen der
Internationalisierungsstrategie der Universität
Mitarbeit an der Entwicklung der strukturierten und international
orientierten Doktorandenausbildung der Fakultät,
Einschlägige Erfahrung in der Einwerbung von Drittmitteln, in der Leitung
von interdisziplinären Forschungsprojekten sowie in der Förderung des
wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses,
Die Bereitschaft zur Kooperation mit WissenschaftlerInnen aus Mittel- und
Osteuropa.

Auf die voraussichtliche Bewerbung der jetzigen Stelleninhaberin wird
hingewiesen. 

Die Professur ist unbefristet. Gemäß § 41 Abs. 1 BbgHG werden
Professorinnen und Professoren im Falle einer Erstberufung in ein
befristetes Dienstverhältnis für die Dauer von zwei Jahren berufen. Es
erfolgt eine Einzelfallprüfung.

Voraussetzungen:
Die allgemeinen Voraussetzungen richten sich nach § 39 BbgHG.
