Meeting Description:

The q Undergraduate Association for Linguistics at Michigan State (qUALMS) is proud to announce the first annual Great Lakes Expo for Experimental and Formal Undergraduate Linguistics (GLEEFUL) on April 23rd, 2011.  GLEEFUL aims to bring together undergraduate linguists from across the country to present high-quality research to their peers.  Dr. Tom Roeper, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, will be our keynote speaker. 

Call for Papers:

We invite 1 page abstracts (500 words) for 15 minute presentations or posters on any area of linguistics.  Abstract submission, and registration, will all be done electronically through our website: https://sites.google.com/site/gleeful2011/home (via the 'Submission' link in the left navigation). 

Deadline for submission of abstract: February 12, 2011. 
Abstracts will be reviewed, and participants will be notified starting on March 5, 2011.
