Description:

The College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological
University, Singapore, invites applications for up to 12 postdoctoral
fellowships for the Academic Year 2011.

The College comprises 3 Schools: Humanities and Social Sciences; Art,
Design, and Media; and Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information. 

This year, fellowships will be available at the School of Humanities and
Social Sciences in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies for the following
topics:

1. Language, Culture and Cognition
The study of the neuro-cognitive basis of speech and language processing,
using behavioral, Event-related Potential, and functional and structural
Magnetic Resonance Imaging methods.
Supervisor: Asst/P Alice Chan

2. Child Language Development
Research into the interface between grammatical structure and
conversational structure, using naturally occurring data.
Supervisor: Prof Luke Kang Kwong

Successful applicants will be attached to a relevant academic division
