Meeting Description:
CLUP Autumn School 2011, entitled "Research areas in Computational and Forensic Linguistics", aims to provide quality training at initial and intermediate levels in the fields of Computational Linguistics and Forensic Linguistics.
The programme includes theoretical sessions and seminars in the more relevant fields of the two areas, which will be coordinated by some of the most renowned researchers in the corresponding fields, such as Eckhard Bick (University of Southern Denmark - Projecto VISL - http://beta.visl.sdu.dk/visl/about/eckhard.html) , Krzysztof Kredens and Nicci MacLeod (Centre for Forensic Linguistics, Aston University - http://www.forensiclinguistics.net/ ), and others from CLUP and the FAculties of Engineering and Law at Porto University.
