International Translation Symposium and Workshop on Culture-bound Texts
Journal Lintas Bahasa Translingua under LBI FIB Universitas Indonesia and HPI is proud to hold the International Translation Symposium and Workshop on the Translation of Culture-bound Texts. The symposium and workshop will be held consecutively on 26-27 November 2011 and 28-29 November 2011 at the University of Indonesia in Depok, Indonesia.

Call for Papers:
We invite academicians, practitioners and those interested in the field of translation and interpreting and welcome papers on areas of interest that may include but are not limited to:
- The translation of philosophical works
- The translation of philological texts
- The translation of literary works
- The translation of texts in the media
- The cultural aspects in legal translation
- The cultural aspects in interpreting
Abstracts should be named 'abstract_ITSUI2011_surname' and sent to Annisa Beta at itsui2011 at gmail.com no later than 15 August 2011.
Abstract submissions should include:
- The name and the affiliation of the author(s)
- The first author's email address
- The area of interest
- The title of the paper
- The abstract (250 words max.)
All abstracts will be published in the program book but only selected papers will be published in the 2011 edition of Journal Lintas Bahasa Translingua.
