We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.
To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at
http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.cfm.

Subject: Participants Needed for a Research Study on Use of
Prepositions and Postpositions in the Germanic Languages
I am currently conducting a research study involving native speakers of
Danish, Faroese, Swedish and Norwegian in order to learn more about
prepositions and postpositions and their properties in the Germanic
languages.
If you agree to be in the study, you will be asked to complete a
questionnaire about your native language. The respective
questionnaires can be accessed here (copy and paste into your
browser's address line):
Danish:
https://survey.uiowa.edu/wsb.dll/1053/Adposition_2009_Danish.htm
Faroese:
https://survey.uiowa.edu/wsb.dll/1053/Adposition_2009_Faroese.htm
Swedish:
https://survey.uiowa.edu/wsb.dll/1053/Adposition_2009_Swedish.htm
Norwegian:
https://survey.uiowa.edu/wsb.dll/1053/Adposition_2009_Norwegian.htm
I would appreciate it if you would consider participating in this study
and forwarding this e-mail message to other adult native speakers who
might be willing to participate. Please do not hesitate to contact me if
you have questions. I look forward to your participation.
Sincerely,
Ulrike L. Carlson
