Call for Book Chapters - Language Issues in St Vincent and the Grenadines

Theme: Language issues in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Editor: Dr Paula Prescod, paula at vincysurf.com 

Description:
Abstracts are solicited that highlight aspects of language use in St
Vincent and the Grenadines in any of the following subfields: language
acquisition, sociolinguistics, morphology, phonology, syntax, discourse and
performance, lexicography. 

Research on the interplay between language and culture, language and
identity, language and education, language and history are welcome.

Authors are requested to submit, in English, a 500-word abstract using 12
pt font-New Times Roman to the editor by September 12, 2011.

Please include 5 key words at the end of your abstract. Bibliographic
references may be included on a second page.

Guidelines on how to write a successful abstract can be consulted on:

Submission of an abstract is assumed to mean that the work is original, not
previously published and that it is not being considered for publication
elsewhere.

Do not include any information that may identify you on the page that
contains your abstract. Any personal information (name, email address,
affiliation etc.) should be included only in the body of the email.

Important dates: 
Abstract deadline: September 12, 2011
Notification of acceptance: October 28, 2011
Full chapter submission deadline: March 03, 2012 (targeted)
Final version of paper submission deadline: May 25, 2012 (targeted)
