Corpus linguistics - From quantitative analysis to qualitative interpretation

Die Tagung soll - im Sinne einer Zwischenbilanz - der Frage nachgehen, 
wie die riesigen Datenmengen, welche etwa das Verfahren der 
Kookkurrenzanalyse im Lexikon-Syntax-Kontinuum zutage fördert, für die 
empirische Fundierung, Ver- besserung und Aktualisierung von 
linguistischen Aussagen fruchtbar gemacht werden können. Anhand von 
konkreten Beispielen soll aufgezeigt werden, wie die Kombination von 
automatisch-quantitativen mit qualitativ-interpretativen Analyseverfahren zu 
neuen, empirisch abgesicherten Erkenntnissen führt.

Le présent colloque s'interroge, en guise de bilan intermédiaire, sur la 
possibilité de rendre opératoire et utile l'utilisation d'un très grand nombre 
de données, telles qu'elles sont nécessaires par exemple pour l'analyse des 
cooccurrences dans le continuum lexique-syntaxe, pour le fondement 
empirique, l'amélioration et l'actualisation d'assertions linguistiques. À l'aide 
d'exemples concrets, il s'agira de montrer comment la combinaison de 
moyens d'analyse quantitatives et automatiques ainsi que qualitatives et 
interprétatives permet de faire émerger des résultats nouveaux, étayés 
empiriquement.
