Dear LINGUIST List Subscribers,
EasyAbstracts (EasyAbs: http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/) is a facility
which provides conference organizers with a convenient way to collect,
organize, and review abstract submissions; which can be done by either
customizing their own abstract system or using the default pages through
our system.
Once a conference's EasyAbs page has been created, potential
applicants can be taken directly to this page by a link and submit their
abstracts online in up to 4 different file formats. Conference organizers
can also establish the parameters for the review process, assign reviewers
to rate the abstracts, and email both submitters and reviewers using EasyAbs-
all through a secure login.
This simple and efficient interface has proven to be incredibly successful.
In its first two years, EasyAbs has supported 205 conferences and continues
to grow.
Here are some of the features we offer with EasyAbs:
1. Customize abstract submission and review system
2. Submit abstracts
3. Rate and review
4. View abstracts
5. Assign abstracts to specific reviewers
6. Send emails to authors or reviewers
More information on EasyAbs and its services can be found on our site:

LINGUIST is non-profit organization that is proud to provide this free
service for all conferences. Please keep us up and running by contributing

without your generous donations.

The LINGUIST List is under the umbrella of Eastern Michigan University and as
such can receive donations through the EMU Foundation, which is a registered
501(c) Non Profit organization. Our Federal Tax number is 38-6005986. These
donations can be offset against your federal and sometimes your state tax return
(U.S. tax payers only). For more information visit the IRS Web-Site, or contact
your financial advisor.
Many companies also offer a gift matching program, such that they will match
any gift you make to a non-profit organization. Normally this entails your
contacting your human resources department and sending us a form that the
EMU Foundation fills in and returns to your employer. This is generally a simple
administrative procedure that doubles the value of your gift to LINGUIST, without
costing you an extra penny. Please take a moment to check if your company
operates such a program.
Thank you very much for your support of LINGUIST!
