Description:

FactSet is currently seeking a talented and motivated person to join the
parsing team within the Content Collection Services (CCS) Department. The
CCS Department develops and maintains the internal data system that
supports FactSet client needs. The primary responsibility for this position
will be the development and maintenance of systems for processing financial
data, with a focus on natural language text analysis. 

The FactSet Engineering team is composed of highly talented and motivated
individuals, primarily selected from top-tier technical programs around the

An ideal candidate for this position has a good mix of technical and

-Perl (OOP & regular expression)
-Unix/Linux
-Problem-solving skills
-Advanced data structures and algorithms
-BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Familiarity with any of the following is recommended:
-Natural Language Processing/Computational Linguistics
-Machine Learning
-Data Mining
-SQL/Database development
-C/C++/Java
-Financial/Investment/Business knowledge
