Description:

1. The Institute of Linguistics invites applications for tenure-track research-only 
position (at the rank of Assistant Research Fellow or above). Special 
consideration will be given to applicants with a research focus on theoretical 
linguistics, especially semantics.
2. The positions will be open until filled.
3. Applicants must already possess or will soon receive a Ph.D. degree. Non-
citizen applicants are required to have a working knowledge of spoken and 
written Chinese.
4. The starting salary of an Assistant Research Fellow, equivalent to a 
university assistant professor, is NT$ 1,022,558 per annum.

Application Procedure:
1. The processing periods is from October 1st to November 15th. Applicants 
must submit the following to the application address below:
(1)  a letter of application
(2)  curriculum vitae in English and Chinese
(3)  publication list in English and Chinese, and copies of representative 
publications for the last five years (Applicants for the assistant research fellow 
rank must submit his/her Ph.D. dissertation; or, if not yet defended, a draft of 
the complete dissertation
(4)  a research plan in English and Chinese that describes the applicant's 
research goals for the next five years
(5)  names and contact information of three references
2. Notification to shortlisted applicants will be given within one month after the 
closing dates.
