Call for Papers:
The 15th edition of BWTL | ABLT will take place in Hamilton, Ontario. This year's workshop has as its central theme the ways in which empirical approaches can help investigate the questions raised by theoretical linguistic proposals. In addition, this year's workshop will include a special session on Pedagogy in Linguistics. We hope this session will spark a dialogue about undergraduate education in linguistics. In the spirit of the previous BWTL | ABLT workshops, presentations should be based on works-in-progress only (theoretical problems, research questions, problematic data, new facts, good [or bad] ideas, etc.). Students are strongly encouraged to participate.
In addition to the usual format of presentations (10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions), we also plan to include a poster session. Abstracts (maximum 200 words) can be submitted at:
http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/BWTL2011
Send any questions to bwtlmcmaster at gmail.com.
Deadline for submissions: October 31, 2011
Date of notification: November 8, 2011
http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/BWTL2011
Envoyez vos questions à bwtlmcmaster at gmail.com.
Date limite pour les soumissions : le 31 octobre 2011
Date de notification : le 8 novembre 2011
