Description:
The University Paris Diderot is offering an associate professor position
with the following profile:
Morphology and Syntax : theory and experimental methods
The candidate should have a PhD in Linguistics (or equivalent) defended
before December 13th 2011 and be registered on the French CNU
qualification list before October 27th 2011.
She should have expertise in contemporary morphological and syntactic
theories, as well as experience of quantitative or psycholinguistic methods.
She should be able to promote an innovative interdisciplinary research
program with linguists, psycholinguists and computational linguists, and
become a member of the research lab Laboratoire de Linguistique formelle
(http://www.llf.cnrs.fr/) or Alpage (http://alpage.inria.fr). She may
become a member of the 10 year project, LabEx Empirical Foundations of
Linguistics (http://www.labex-efl.org/).
She will have to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the Linguistic
department (http://www.univ-paris-diderot.fr) and will be paid in
accordance with the French state regulated public service salary scale.
This is a permanent life time position with a civil servant status.
