The Marica De Vincenzi Foundation is inviting applications for a 1-year
fellowship for Italian students to pursue post-doctoral study in a foreign
institution of the applicant's choice, i.e., outside Italy. Applications
should be received at the University of Trento by 12:00am on May 7th,
2012, via regular mail.
Application requirements include a CV, a brief dissertation summary,
samples of publications, and a 4-page description of a research plan,
plus a support letter from the proposed host institution.
Full details for the application, including the call for applications and the
application form, can be found at:
http://www.unitn.it/discof/9465/assegni-di-ricerca
(This website is not always reliable: if the files are inaccessible, please
email colin at umd.edu for copies.)
In the evaluation of applications, the scholarly strength of the
candidate, as well as the feasibility of the proposed research and its
impact upon the applicant's career and potential for future impact on
psycholinguistics in Italy, will be considered. Applicants who plan to
remain in their current institution should provide justification, and in
cases of projects that require more than one year it is helpful to
provide information on possible sources of funding beyond the initial
year.
