3-7 September 2012 - The ALTE Introductory Course in Language Testing
The course will be taught by Professor Cyril Weir, University of Bedfordshire, and Dr Lynda Taylor, University of Bedfordshire and Consultant to the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, and will focus on the practical application of testing and assessment theory. Participants are expected to have a professional interest in language testing but are not expected to have a profound knowledge of the subject area.
The cost of tuition is 900 Euros (800 Euros for ALTE Members and Affiliates). This does not include accommodation or meals but does include course materials and relevant SiLT (Studies in Language Testing) volumes.

10-14 September 2012 - The ALTE Course in Understanding the C-levels to Assess Language for the Professions
The course will be taught by Dr Anthony Green, University of Bedfordshire and Dr Fiona Barker, University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. Participants are expected to have a professional interest in language testing but are not expected to have a profound knowledge of the subject area.
