À l'occasion du 80e Congrès de l'Acfas qui se tiendra au Palais de Congrès de Montréal du 7 au 11 mai 2012, nous ouvrons un appel de propositions pour un colloque sur les thèmes du bilinguisme, de l'acquisition d'une langue seconde et du multilinguisme. Les chercheurs dans les domaines suivants sont encouragés à soumettre leurs recherches récentes : linguistique théorique, psycholinguistique, neurosciences, orthophonie et linguistique appliquée, ainsi que tout autre domaine connexe. Les étudiants gradués sont vivement encouragés à soumettre leurs travaux à ce colloque. 

Le colloque se tiendra le mardi 8 mai 2012. La session matinale sera orientée vers la recherche. La session de l'après-midi comprendra trois conférences grand public.

On occasion of the 80th ACFAS Conference (Association francophone pour le savoir) in May 2012, we are organizing a 1-day symposium on bilingualism, second language acquisition, and multilingualism on May 8, 2012, sponsored by the CRBLM.

The symposium will have 2 parts:

(1) A morning session with scientific talks and posters for researchers
(2) An afternoon session with 3 talks for the general public (Fred Genesee, Ana Ines Ansaldo, Karsten Steinhauer) 

2nd Call for Papers: 

Please find below our second (and last) call for papers. We would like to encourage submissions from students, postdocs and senior scientists, and from all relevant areas of research, including linguistics, cognitive science, neuroscience, applied linguistics, etc.

Deadline for paper submissions (oral or posters): 21 January 2012

Please note that this conference is in French (however, posters can be written in French and presented in English, for example).

Appel à Communications :

Les résumés de propositions pour la session de recherche doivent être de 500 mots au maximum (en excluant les références, les auteurs et les affiliations) et ne contenir aucun tableau ni figure. Veuillez soumettre votre document en format Word ou pdf et indiquer le nombre de mots à la fin du texte.

Veuillez préciser les noms des auteurs, leur affiliation et la préférence de présentation (orale, affichée ou sans importance) ainsi que le courriel du premier auteur.

La date limite pour la réception des propositions est le 21 janvier 2012. Une réponse sera envoyée au premier auteur le 21 février 2012. Les propositions doivent être soumis au courriel suivant : labolangage at gmail.com, avec le sujet ACFAS 2012, Auteur :

(ex. ACFAS 2012, Phaedra Royle)

Veuillez vous limiter à une seule proposition par premier auteur.
