Meeting Description:
The purpose of the conference is to bring together linguists working on the diachrony of different languages and to provide them with an opportunity to exchange ideas and perspectives on language change.
Call for Papers:
Papers are welcome on all aspects of linguistic evolution, whether in the fields of syntax, semantics, phonology, pragmatics or sociolinguistics, and may be devoted either to the history of individual languages or to the mechanisms of language change in general.
Contributors are invited to inform the organisers by March 1 of their intention to participate in the conference, and to send a short abstract (200-300 words), either in English or in French, by March 15.
The official languages of the conference will be French and English.
