Description:
The Department of English Language and Literature at Seoul National
University invites applications for one visiting assistant professor position,
beginning in March 1, 2013. Applicants should have a Ph.D. at the time of
appointment and should be non-Korean citizens.
Seoul National University is the top-ranking university in Korea, with 30,000

Qualifications:
All applicants must have a Ph.D. degree at the time of appointment.

Linguistics (Phonetics/Phonology)
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will teach three courses per semester at both the
graduate and undergraduate levels.
Salary and Benefit:
The base annual salary is 32 million KRW (around $29,000), with an
additional $2,000-a-year housing allowance (studio) or $3,000-a-year housing
allowance (two-bedroom apartment), which is half of the monthly rent. BK
International House on campus is available.
