Dear Linguist,

There has been a lot of controversy about the CEF alignment of high-stakes 
tests 
such as TOEFL.

Do you have an opinion on the matter?  Do you know of any good 
presentations or 
publications that address the issue? I have found this presentation by J. de

Do you know of any independent research on the mapping of TOEFL to CEF?
