The 2nd Fall Meeting on Formal Linguistics: Language(s) and Cognition (Rencontres d'Automne de Linguistique Formelle : Langage, Langues et Cognition - RALFe 2012) will be organized by the UMR « Structures Formelles du Langage » Université Paris 8 / CNRS in Paris, November 29-30, 2012.

Les 2èmes Rencontres d'Automne de Linguistique Formelle: Langage, Langues et Cognition (RALFe) organisées par l'UMR « Structures Formelles du Langage » Université Paris 8 / CNRS auront lieu à Paris les 29 et 30 novembre 2012.

Call for Papers:

Submissions are invited for 30 minute-papers (plus discussion) on all domains of linguistic theory. 

Abstracts are invited from all areas (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics) of formal linguistics (e.g., generative grammar or related frameworks). Topics may include syntax-semantics interface, syntax-morphology interface and others. 

Abstracts on language acquisition, psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics are also particularly welcome in a perspective that relates them to theories of grammar. 

We strongly encourage contributions exploring formal approaches to language diversity and typological works (including but not limited to sign languages, creoles, under-represented languages and comparative studies). 

Instructions for Abstract Submission:

Presentations may be in French or in English. The language used in the abstract will also be the language of the presentation. 

Abstracts should be anonymous and must not exceed 2 pages (A4) (including data and references) with a 2,54 cm (1 inch) margin on all four sides using Times New Roman 12 pt. 

Abstracts must be submitted online using the link below. We use EasyChair as our system of abstract collection. We will accept electronic submissions only (.pdf files).

Appel à Soumissions :

Nous invitons toute personne intéressée à nous faire parvenir une proposition pour une communication de 30 minutes (plus discussion) dans tout domaine de la linguistique théorique. 

Nous acceptons des propositions dans tous les domaines (phonologie, morphologie, syntaxe, sémantique, et interfaces syntaxe-sémantique, syntaxe-morphologie et autres) de la linguistique formelle (par exemple, grammaire générative et cadres apparentés). 

Les propositions en acquisition du langage, psycholinguistique et neurolinguistique sont aussi particulièrement espérées, dans une perspective qui les relie aux théories de la grammaire. 

Nous encourageons aussi chaleureusement les contributions qui explorent des approches formelles de la diversité des langues et de la typologie (y compris, par exemple, les langues des signes, les créoles, les langues sous-représentées et les travaux comparés) 

Consignes pour les Soumissions :

Les langues de la conférence sont le français et l'anglais. La langue de la présentation devra être la même que celle du résumé. 

Les propositions de communication doivent être anonymes et ne pas excéder 2 pages en format A4 (y compris les données et références) avec des marges de 2,54 cm sur les quatre côtés en Times New Roman 12 pt. 

Les propositions doivent être soumises en ligne en utilisant le lien ci-dessous. Nous utilisons EasyChair comme interface de soumission. Nous n'accepterons que les soumissions électroniques (fichiers .pdf).
