Description:
The Department of Linguistics and Germanic, Slavic, Asian and African
Languages at Michigan State University seeks to fill a one-year, fixed-term
faculty position in Phonetics at the Assistant Professor level beginning August
16, 2012. PhD required. Duties will include teaching 5 courses in Linguistics
and participating in advising students on research projects as appropriate. A
demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and in research is preferred.
Review of applications will begin on March 21, 2012 and will continue until the
position is filled. Applicants should submit an updated CV, letter of application
describing their experience and interests for teaching and research, evidence
of teaching effectiveness, and three names of referees and their email
