The University of Konstanz is one of the nine Universities of Excellence in

The Department of Linguistics invites applicants for a full-time
Postdoctoral Research Position
(Salary scale 13 TV-L)
Applications are invited for 2 years and 3 months in the Neurolinguistics
Group at the University of Konstanz. In principle, this position can be
divided into two half-time positions.
Requirements:
Applicants should hold a PhD in linguistics or psychology or other
disciplines related to the cognitive neuroscience of language. They should
have extensive experience with EEG, fMRI and other brain imaging
techniques, and should be familiar with statistical analysis and general
scientific methodology. Proven skills in scholarly writing will be an
advantage.
The successful candidate will share in the management of the
Neurolinguistics Group and will be involved in undergraduate and
advanced teaching on human language processing and related topics in
the context of a linguistics programme. During the first year, active
participation in a current research project on "Language-specific
morphological and metrical structure in speech processing: Comparative
psycho- and neurolinguistic investigations of French and German" is
expected.
