Meeting Description:
We are happy to announce that the 44th Poznan Linguistic Meeting (PLM2013) will take place on 29 August-1 September 2013, in Poznan, Poland. The Meeting will be organised by the Faculty of English of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. The venue of PLM2013 will be Collegium Maius (http://goo.gl/OHvSQ http://goo.gl/L14eJ http://goo.gl/Mz14n), a beautiful Neo-baroque building in the city centre.
Leitmotif:
The leitmotif of the 44th PLM will be ‘Complexity Invariance in Linguistics: Evidence and Challenges.’

Call for Papers:
Proposals of papers for both oral and poster sessions related to this main theme, as well as to other fields of modern linguistics, are invited.
Each paper in the oral session will be given 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion. Poster sessions will be an integral part of the conference programme. The language of the conference is English.
We also invite proposals for Thematic Workshops Sessions related to our leitmotif. A proposal for a workshop session should include a clear statement of its objectives/topic/message (about 250 words) as well as at least four names of proposed speakers (with affiliations) and a sample bibliography. Please note that the organiser(s) of a workshop session will be expected to submit a description of the session (to be reviewed by our International Advisory Board), solicit submissions, organise the reviewing process, and submit a complete set of abstracts by the main submission deadline.
All abstracts (including thematic session abstracts) will be processed using the EasyChair conference management system. All regular submissions (posters and presentations) will be reviewed by our International Advisory Board.
