Revista Leitura, a peer-reviewed journal published by the Programa de
Pós-Graduação em Letras e Línguística (PPGLL) / Universidade Federal de
Alagoas (UFAL), is accepting submission of papers, essays, book reviews, and
interviews for its 52nd issue, to be published in Oct.2013.

Topic: Speech Prosody

The focus of this issue is prosody as an organizing principle for different
aspects of spoken language. It aims at discussing specifically how different
prosodic elements (such as those related to the variation of duration,
intensity and fundamental frequency) are used to organize information in
various communicative situations. Studies that deal with aspects related to
the production and the perception of this phenomenon in different verbal
productions will be considered for analysis. The submission of papers that
deal with spontaneous speech is particularly encouraged.
