Description:
INCAS³ has pre-doc opportunities for MA graduates interested in indigenous
language, culture and knowledge representation. The ideal candidate has an
interest in working with indigenous groups to document and codify expert
knowledge as exercised by diverse communities of people, including Cree
(Algic, Algonquian) among others.
The chosen candidate will be hired to spend six months writing a doctoral
proposal in close collaboration with INCAS³ scientists, postdoctoral
researchers and external scholars. If the proposal meets expectations, the
candidate will be offered a fully funded PhD position to perform the research.
This position is open until filled.
