Meeting Description: 

TELLSI International Conference is held annually in universities and institutes of higher education across Iran. This time, the 11th conference will be hosted by Tabaran Institute of Higher Education, Mashhad, Iran. The major theme of the 11th TELLSI International Conference is Professional Development in Language Teacher Education (PDLTE).

Aims:

The purpose of 11th TELLSI International Conference is to bring Iranian EFL/ESL teachers and researchers together and provide an opportunity for academicians and professionals from all over Iran to share their experiences and research findings. This unique opportunity can highlight ELT challenges and encourage teachers to bring innovations to their classrooms. An additional goal of the conference is to issue a collection of scientific articles by researches with cross-disciplinary interests related to the conference theme.

About TELLSI:

Teaching English Language and Literature Society of Iran (TELLSI) is ccertified by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Iran. 
TELLSI was officially recognized in March 2007. The main goal of TELLSI is developing and improving ELT research and practice in Iran. It has currently a large number of active members including academicians, researchers, language teachers and students. The members of the society’s board of directors include Dr. Susan Marandi (president), Dr. Reza Khani (vice-president), Dr. Mohammad Reza Anani Sarab (treasurer), Dr. Ramin Akbari (member), Dr. Zia Tajeddin, (member and executive director of TELL journal), Dr. Zohreh Nafissi (inspector), Dr. Abbas Ali Rezaie (reserve member), and Dr. Soodmand Afshar (reserve member).
