Meeting Description:
The 2nd LPRG Postgraduate politeness conference will be taking place at Sheffield Hallam University on Thursday, March 13, 2014, from 9.00 -5.00.
There will be three plenary speakers: Karen Grainger, Jodie Clark and Chris Christie.
This is a free conference (no fees). No lunch or coffee will be provided, so you are welcome to bring your own. You will be able to buy sandwiches and coffee/tea in the conference building.
Call for Papers:
We welcome postgraduate papers in the field of Politeness Research. Please send a short abstract (500 words max) to Isabelle van der Bom: dsiv at exchange.shu.ac.uk. The deadline for abstracts is the 31 of January 2014.
