The Department is a young and vibrant Department established in 2004. It invites applications for Part-time Instructors in modern languages. Applicants should have (i) a relevant Bachelor degree or above; (ii) experience in teaching courses in one of the following languages as a foreign/second language: Arabic, French, German, Italian, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Thai; (iii) the ability to use English as a medium of instruction; and preferably (iv) experience in teaching Asian learners at university level.  

Appointments will initially be made on contract basis for different teaching terms: summer session (from May to June 2014), the first and/or second terms (from September 2014 to May 2015), renewable subject to performance, funding and mutual agreement.  Applications will be accepted until the posts are filled.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The terms mentioned herein are for reference only and are subject to revision by the University.
