Description:

The Department of English invites applications for a tenure-track position in applied linguistics, with secondary specialization in second language acquisition. Will teach courses in the MA TESL program, in undergraduate and graduate linguistics, in composition (ESL and regular), and some general education courses. 

Desirable: 
- Record of ESL and TESL experience abroad. 

Academic year: 
-  3/3 load. 

Ph.D. in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or related field required. If Ph.D. is not completed by the beginning of the contract period, appointment will be at rank of Instructor until all degree requirements are fulfilled. 

Salary commensurate with experience and credentials. 

Position open until filled.

Send cover letter, vita, unofficial transcript, statement of teaching philosophy, and three letters of recommendation to the Linguistics Search Committee at the application address below.
