Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (New Brunswick), invites applicants for a tenure‐track Assistant Professor position in theoretical linguistics with a specialty in semantics, beginning September 1, 2014. We seek a candidate with a demonstrated and innovative research program and the ability to teach effectively in both our growing undergraduate program and our highly ranked doctoral program. Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. in linguistics by June 30, 2014. Applications should include a CV, a research statement, sample publications, three letters of reference, a teaching statement, teaching evaluations, if available, and a cover letter that includes a list of those writing letters of reference and a list of all the materials that have been, or will be, submitted.
