Meeting Description:

The Student section of the Society of Slavic Studies Maribor is pleased to announce the International Scientific Meeting of Doctoral Students of Slovenian and Slavic Studies, which will take place on 21 November 2014 at the Faculty of Arts of University of Maribor, Slovenia.

Participants at the meeting will have chance to meet doctoral students of Slovenian and Slavic studies from the host university as well as from other universities, to exchange scientific-research experiences and to maintain further professional collaboration. A collection of all lectures will be published in printed and electronic form before the meeting. 

Call for Papers:

We invite doctoral students from different countries, who take an interest in Slovenian language, Slovenian literature, didactics and translation, to send summaries of their papers by 10 June 2014. You can find the application form on our website http://www.philoslovenica.si/ where you can also get all additional information about the meeting.

Official languages of the meeting are all Slavic languages. Summaries and articles must be written in Slovene or English. The meeting will be broadcast live on the Internet. The steering committee will select 20 papers and inform all students about their selection no later than by 30 June 2014.
