Abstract:

Mehrsprachigkeit begegnet einem heutzutage überall; sie hat alle Lebensbereiche und Kommunikationsformen erfasst. Mehrsprachigkeit wird gelebt, weil die Mitglieder unserer Gesellschaft selbst mehrsprachig sind. Es sind Personen, die ihre sprachlichen Ressourcen in das gesellschaftliche Miteinander einbringen – so wie Antonie Hornung, der dieser Band gewidmet ist. Hierzu gehört auch der Wechsel zwischen verschiedenen gesellschaftlichen Gruppen und Regionen. Mit den Personen bewegt sich auch die Sprache. Der Umgang mit Mehrsprachigkeit umfasst individuelle, didaktische und wissenschaftliche Facetten, die in diesem Band beleuchtet werden. Daher sind die Beiträge auf Deutsch, Italienisch, Englisch und Spanisch verfasst und vertreten sprachwissenschaftliche, didaktische und literaturwissenschaftliche Diskurse, die Mehrsprachigkeit in verschiedener Weise thematisieren. Gemeinsam ist ihnen die Basis, einen Menschen als Individuum mit seinen sprachlichen Fähigkeiten wahrzunehmen und wertzuschätzen.
