Description:

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Queen’s University
invites applications from suitably qualified candidates interested in teaching
a course in LING 100/6.0 Introduction to Linguistics; LING 310/3.0 Phonetics;
and LING 320/3.0 Phonology).  These are on-campus introductory and foundation
lecture courses with an expected enrollment of ~130 students for LING 100/6.0;
30 students in LING 310/3.0 and 30 students in LING 320/3.0.  Candidates
should have a Ph.D. in Theoretical Linguistics completed at the start date of
the appointment, and teaching experience at the University level in Phonetics
and Phonology.  This is a fall/winter term appointment for the period
September 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016 with classes in session from September 7,
2015 to April 1, 2016.  The University invites applications from all qualified
