Description:

Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris invites applications for a full professor position in Phonetics. 

The professor is expected to have strong knowledge in phonetics and to teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level in various domains : articulatory and acoustic phonetics, perceptual/cognitive and communicational aspects of speech, didactic phonetics, prosody, phonetic universals, laboratory phonology, etc. More information about the department courses can be found on the following websites:

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in all aspects of the department’s activities and will carry on his/her research in the Laboratory of Phonetics and Phonology (http://lpp.in2p3.fr/), laboratory's research themes are presented here: http://lpp.in2p3.fr/article.php3?id_article=370. The Laboratory of Phonetics and Phonology is the founding member of the Labex EFL (http://www.labex-efl.org/) and the successful candidate will be invited to bring his/her expertise.
