 The National Science Foundation published a revision to the NSF Documenting Endangered Languages (DEL) Solicitation NSF 11-554.  

The revised solicitation, NSF 14-580, can be accessed at http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=12816.

This revision of the DEL solicitation includes the following changes:

*New instructions for the preparation of DEL Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grants (DDRIGs)

*Program specific guidelines for the data management plan:
    -Required letter from mentor
    -Restriction on the number of times a student can apply
    -Statement of Consultation 

*New instructions for the preparation of DEL Senior proposals and fellowships:
    -Program specific guidelines for the data management plan
    -Statement of Consultation

This solicitation includes information for Senior, Fellowship, and DDRIG proposals. The applicant should read the sections relevant to the type of proposal submitted.
