Description:

The Department of Information and Communication Technologies at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona), in collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Barcelona), offers MA on Intelligent Interactive Systems (MIIS, http://www.upf.edu/iis/), which addresses several topics such as Natural Language Interaction, Speech Technologies, Machine Learning, Big Data, and Robotics.

Funding:
The research groups of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies and other research centers or companies in cooperation with the Master's Program offer collaboration grants: the students are paid a monthly salary while they are working on their MA Thesis (typically, for about 10 months). This fund is paid by the department, or by some of our research groups, if the MA Thesis is closely relevant to some of their research topics. In some cases, the funding is paid by a company if the MA Thesis is carried out in that company. The amount of funding varies, depending on whether it is offered by the department, a research group, or a company.
