Description:

The College proposes to create a Stipendiary Research Fellowship in
Linguistics, tenable from 1 October 2014 for 3 years.  Applications are
welcome in all branches of Linguistics, but especially in the linguistic study
of particular languages; historical and comparative linguistics; phonetics and
phonology; sociolinguistics; linguistic typology; and the history of
linguistics.  The person elected will be based in Oxford, and will carry out
research and publish in the above field.  Candidates should have relevant
postgraduate experience, and hold, or be near completion of a doctorate by
commencement of the Fellowship.   For full details and application information
