Description:
The Center for Languages of the Central Asian Region (CeLCAR), a National Language Resource Center (LRC) funded by the US Department of Education, is seeking a graduate assistant for either Kazakh or Kyrgyz to develop materials and possibly teach the language.
Native speaker preferred. BA or MA in linguistics, Kazakh/Kyrgyz language, language teaching or related field also preferred. The successful candidate is expected to work for 20 hours per week, and a monthly stipend, as well as tuition and fee remissions are provided.

Please apply by our priority deadline, Monday, December 1, 2014, although applications will be accepted through March 16, 2015 for this position if the position is unfilled by the priority deadline, or for additional related positions in Kazakh/Kyrgyz.
