Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages 
Lecturers / Assistant Lecturers

The Department is a young and vibrant department established in 2004. It now
invites applications for Lectureships / Assistant Lectureships for the summer
term of the academic year 2014-15. 

Applicants should have (i) a relevant Master degree or above; (ii) experience
in teaching courses in German or Korean as a foreign / second language; (iii)
the ability to use English as a medium of instruction; and preferably (iv)
experience in teaching Asian learners at university level. Those with at least
four years’ post-Master relevant experience may be considered for appointment
at Lecturer rank.  

Appointments will be made on contract basis (non-renewable) from May 4, 2015
to June 30, 2015.

Salary and Fringe Benefits 
Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and
experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package,
including medical care.
