Description:
Utrecht University is looking for a full professor in Communication and

The professor will play an important part in the integration of these two
perspectives by establishing a strongly connective, interdisciplinary line of
research. The successful candidate will play a leading and coordinating role
in the programme of CIS, teaching at both the bachelor and master levels.
Depending on the successful candidate's expertise and preferences, the

the Department of Languages, Literature and Communication of the Humanities

into a dynamic teaching environment;
- Is able to engage in and maintain networks in academia as well as in the
social areas and valorisation domains of language, media and communication;

organisational skills required for this responsible job;
- Has a good command of Dutch and is familiar with the Dutch context in which
the programme is set. Non-native candidates are expected to master both of
these in two years.
The successful candidate is offered a full-time appointment for five years
with possible tenure after positive evaluation. The salary is € 5,003 - €7,285
gross per month for a full-time appointment.

Faculty includes four domains of knowledge:
1. Philosophy and religious studies
2. History and history of arts
