Meeting Description:
The workshop is organised by a team of PhD students in Philology, Literature and Linguistics at the University of Pisa (Italy) and explores idiolect phenomena in the English language. The speakers are PhD students and two of the most prominent scholars in the field of stylistics and language creativity.
Idiolectal features will be analyzed in different genres, such as film, narrative, essay, and poetry with a wide range of textual approaches, including, but not limited to, cross-cultural and translational perspectives.
