Description:

Haverford College invites applications for a visiting faculty member in the
Department of Linguistics.  The successful candidate will teach two courses in
the spring 2015 semester:  Introduction to Linguistics and Syntax II.  The
Linguistics Department is a collaborative Tri-College curricular program
involving faculty and students from Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore and Haverford
colleges (http://www.haverford.edu/linguistics/).  Teaching experience in the
undergraduate liberal arts environment is preferred, but other college
teaching experiences will be considered.  Applicants should have completed the
Ph.D. by the time of the appointment, although advanced doctoral candidates
will be considered.

Please submit a cover letter, a Curriculum Vitae, a one-page statement of your
teaching philosophy, and the names, addresses, and email addresses of three
recommenders.  All materials must be submitted electronically through
