After the success of the first Southern Englishes Workshop, hosted by Dr Sandra Jansen at the University of Brighton in March 2014 (https://sites.google.com/site/sewbrighton/), the second conference in the series will be held at the University of Cambridge, March 23-24, 2015.

Call for Papers:
The Second Southern Englishes Workshop solicits papers on any aspect of English in the linguistic south of the United Kingdom. We welcome papers in, but not limited to, historical and synchronic dialectology, historical and synchronic sociolinguistics, language contact, multilingualism, dialect in literature, and any other area relevant to English in the south.
Please, submit an abstract for a 15-20 minute paper by 1 December 2014 to: lcw21 at cam.ac.uk
