Meeting Description:
The 7en Obrador de Lingüistica Occitana (7th Workshop on Occitan Linguistics/7ème Atelier de Linguistique Occitane) will take place in Munich on July 6-8 2015. We welcome contributions from all fields of Occitan linguistics (lexicology, syntax, morphology, phonology, dialectology, sociolinguistics, etc.), as well as comparative approaches. Contributions can focus on results from completed or ongoing research and should represent original and unpublished work.
There is no conference fee, but membership in the Associacion de Lingüistica Occitana is required. A one-year membership is 15 € and can be paid in cash on site.
Travel expenses for accepted speakers will be partially covered (funding for total coverage is pending).
La setena edicion de l'Obrador de Lingüistica Occitana se debanarà a Munic del 6 al 8 de julh de 2015. L'Obrador es dubèrt a totes los que vòlon intervenir sus una question de lingüistica occitana (lexic, sintaxi, morfologia, fonologia, dialectologia, sociolingüistica...) tant en sincronia coma en diacronia. Cap de tèma i es pas impausat. Los apròchis comparatius son possibles. Aquel encontre pòt èsser l'escasença de presentar un trabalh acabat o en cors d'elaboracion.
La participacion al collòqui se fa a res-non-còst, mas es obligatòri de venir sòci de l’associacion. L’escotisson per un an es de 15€ e se poirà pagar sus plaça en espècias.
Es possible que se cobriscan los còsts de viatge per los que las contribucions seràn acceptadas coma presentacions (demandas de finançament en cors).

One-page abstracts are invited for 20 minutes talks, followed by 10 minutes of discussion. Working languages will be Occitan, any other Romance language, or English.
The abstract (pdf document) should be sent to the organiser (daniela.mueller at phonetik.uni-muenchen.de) by email in two versions, one anonymous and one with your name and affiliation, before December 1, 2014. You will be notified no later than February 1, 2015.
The proceedings from the workshop will be published online/open-access in the journal “Lingüistica Occitana” (revistadoc.com).
